Warranty

 

STANDARD PRODUCTS LIMITED WARRANTY

RazrLites warrants to the purchaser that the product that is in the subject of this sale, (a) conforms to the manufacturer’s published specifications and (b) is free from defects in materials and   workmanship.

The standard warranty terms and conditions for RazrLites direct replacement lamps are listed below.

RazrLites products are to be free from manufacturer’s defects or defects in workmanship for a period of five (5) or ten (10) years subject to product warranty unless agreed to in writing on a commercial invoice.

CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY

Forwarranty service evaluation, a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number must be obtained by calling the RazrLites customer services department. Packages returned without the RMA #printed clearly on the outside carton or documentation may be refused. Warranty service requiring the return of any product to RazrLites: the product must be returned in its original shipping container, or equivalent that properly provides a high depth of cushioning and protection from rough shipping conditions. Under NO circumstances will RazrLites honor any warranty claim on damage deemed to have been caused by the shipping company, its agents, or assigns.

Purchaser will notify RazrLites AND freight company if the product arrives damaged. Purchaser agrees to hold RazrLites harmless in the case of shipping damage and will assist RazrLites in the insurance claim process. Parts replaced under warranty shall become the property of RazrLites and must be returned to RazrLites or a facility designated by RazrLites. RazrLites will issue a credit when the defective units are received, evaluated, and determined to have failed under warranty conditions.

RazrLites agrees to replace and/or repair any defective parts during the warranty period free of charge. Labor for warranty service will be performed at a RazrLites designated facility. The purchaser will be solely responsible for all shipping to RazrLites and/or customs (if applicable) associated with warranty returns and service. If the return is declared a warranty repair by RazrLites, RazrLites will return the repaired product to the purchaser using normal ground or economy shipping at no cost to the purchaser. If the purchaser so desires the product to be returned from RazrLites in expedited fashion, the difference in economy freight and the desired expedited service will be the sole responsibility of the purchaser. RazrLites will insist that the returned product be insured for the total value of the product unless a hold harmless waiver is signed and submitted to RazrLites prior to shipping. Insurance costs will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

Should any on-site warranty service be required; standard daily technician rates and travel costs for RazrLites to perform the warranty service shall be the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY

The non-transferable warranty applies only to the original purchaser in the country of purchase. RazrLites does not authorize anyone to make a warranty claim of any kind on its behalf and purchaser should not rely on anyone making such statements. The RazrLites warranty is limited to the repairing and replacing of the equipment, without charge, which proves to be defective under warranty. RazrLites is the sole and final determining authority on validity of warranty claims.

RETURNS

RazrLites will accept returns within 30 days of receipt, in the original packaging, in original condition, returned freight prepaid to RazrLites. Retrofit kits must not have been installed and be in original sealed package. No credit or refund will be given for product that does not meet the aforementioned criteria.  A 25% restocking fee will be assessed from the original material purchase price.
